We are proud to present the digital version of our first 12” vinyl release labeled under the ‘SMV’ moniker. Having Oxóssi step up to the plate with his ground-shifting bass repertoire, assures us we’re floating upstream. This inaugural release will be a very important force for the future of our imprint - and hope you will understand the subliminal message we’re sending across.

Silent Motion Records extends its bass music catalogue with sounds coming all the way from Los Angeles. Oxóssi, a familiar face in American dubstep culture, is known for his old-fashioned, spaced-out dub music and focus on its deeply rooted fundamental frequencies.

His feel for programming rhythms, enriching effects and the necessary depth allow for intriguing experiences. The ‘Buried’ EP he has crafted is the direct proof of it, exposing his novel taste in dub-esque bass music. ‘SMV001’ is a one release of many, highlighting the flourishing dubstep of the future.
